Dear Esther:--Howdy do, Hows your wife & how are you, yours truly is in the best of spirits and health. I'm not in any mood to write that is I am in the passive voice and subjunctive mood, passive in that I am good enough looking to be passable and subjunctive in that I would like to be able to (ive) to be under (sub) the covers and make them meet (junct) snuggly all around the edges well to continue the explanation and elucidation of the manipulation of my extra ordinary well being self I will close my opening paragraph.

Do you know that only Fri. I learned that a verse of poetry was a single line and that a stanza is what I always thot a verse was. I am almost convinced that "some" other people know a few things that I do not that would do me some good to know.

Are there any especially good shows coming down there soon if so I wish you would get a date for me and then upon my failure to appear upon the scene of action take my place and take Luella to the show and escort her home and "treat her as you would like to be treated" if you will do that little thing for me I will reimburse you for all your expenses. Do you know if she has her bud vase down there or not, you don't need to ask her for I don't suppose she has it but I thot, you might as you probably would, see it were it there.

When does the first semester end down there. Ours did last Fri., do you have any special exams or vacation then? When do you have your next vacation and how long is it? How are all of you folks down there, have you hard from Justine? I guess she is not seriously sick herself but see where you "might have been".

The snow is so deep we cannot get the car out of the lane let alone run it to school. I got 4 rabbits Sat., wish you had been here to participate in the feast. School is going and thats about all. My average exam grades is 94. Com. Arith 100, Chem. 98, Eng. 96, Phys. 96 and C[...] 80. Willie is getting no better fast. I hate to waste all this space but I don't have much else to say and don't feel like saying what I do have to say so

God be with you till we meat again
E. Clark Munro.

What is love? 'Tis not hereafter:
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What's to come is still unsure:
In delay there lies no plenty;
Then come kiss me, sweet and twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.
